240 centimeters of beautiful wild silk dyed in deep blue. The silk is handwoven and ideal for a cushion cover, but if you have a lining fabric, you can also make a nice top out of it.

Tassar silk

Tassar silk is made from silkworm cocoons found mainly in eastern India, at the foot of the Himalayas. Tassar has a coppery color and this silk is mainly used for furnishing and interior decoration, but also for making scarves. The indigenous people breed the caterpillars for Tassar silk on a small scale. The silk is spun by hand and woven on traditional hand looms.
