Embroidered silk pouch yellow

Handy, beautiful and made entirely from used materials. Suitable as a make-up case, glasses case, or as an original handmade clutch. Very nice with a kantha scarf in matching colours!

The case is embroidered on residual fabric from local wild silk from the East of India. Embroiderers are women who find themselves in a disadvantaged position. They can do this work at home and are paid fairly for their embroidery by a non-profit organization.

Leather that has had a previous purpose was used for the leather finish.
