Scarf cream-orange organic cotton

This handwoven scarf has a woolly, warm structure. The irregular weave texture gives the scarf a chic, artisanal look. A scarf that is sturdy but not stiff, feels very soft and drapes beautifully.

The raw cotton is spun by hand on a simple wooden spindle with a turning mechanism, the kisan charkha. This makes the cotton thread uneven in thickness, and that is exactly what makes this scarf special.
The scarf is woven on a wooden handloom. The orange cotton thread is dyed with colour extracts, obtained from vegetable waste and algae.
